The Ballghaderreen 'Solas' Street Festival will take place from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August.
Grand opening on Friday Evening 28th at 7.30pm with special Guests and street entertainment. Saturday 29th includes - 'A Taste of Ballagh' food demos and tasting by local chefs/cooks, treasure hunts, Open Air entertainment. Saturday Night will see the 'Solas' Festival Dance in Abbeyfield Hotel commencing at 9pm. Sunday 30th - includes Battle of the Bands (1st Prize a one day recording session). Family Fun Day in Community Park, Disney Characters, Balloon Maker, Face Painting and lots more for the Kids. Also included, Vintage Displays, street entertainment all day and to close the Festival a Fireworks Display will be held at 10.00pm. |
